Providing joyful places to heal, grow, and celebrate.

Many of us are struggling

Our mental health is suffering and we yearn for connection with ourselves and each other*. In many communities, there is a lack of inspirational, affordable, and inclusive places and events to connect in-person. Maybe you’re feeling it too?

We need more physical places to spark positive connections. Gathered Hearts is working towards supporting individuals and communities by providing inspiring spaces for healing and growth, so we can start living lives full of joy.

What can we do about it?

Have you heard of the concept “the third place”? It refers to the social surroundings that are separate from the two usual social environments of home ("first place") and the workplace ("second place"). Examples of third places include religious centers, cafes, clubs, libraries, gyms, bookstores, stoops and parks.

We’re super charging the “third place” to better serve communities in an inclusive, affordable, and inspirational way.

We’ll start with one beta location and learn from it. From there, we can expand to multiple communities across the United States, and share our findings (for free) with anyone who would like to do the same, anywhere.

Hello, I’m Amber, the founder of Gathered Hearts. Here is my story and a little about what we’re trying to do here.

It all started with a neighborhood book club. We struggled to find physical space for our 15 members to meet up. Our homes weren’t large enough and restaurants didn’t offer that cozy space to connect.

I started thinking about all the hosts, creators, instructors and leaders out there who are in need of space to share, teach, connect, and help others grow and heal.

How can we provide these types of spaces and make them sustainable and affordable?

This is a problem I’ve decided to care about and spend my time on solving. I’m gathering a skilled team of like-minded souls to help bring this concept to life. Let’s see what we can do together!

How can we possibly do this?

We’re trying this idea from a non-profit perspective. We’ll start small. Learn from it. Shape it and adapt. We plan to share our process and what worked for us as a blueprint for others to use and build community spaces around the world.

I invite you to explore the possibilities for these spaces, which we’ve outlined in this website. If you feel moved, please join us on this journey. Feel free to share your ideas and skills, and support us financially, if and when you can. We need your help.

Providing space for communities to heal, grow and celebrate feels like a breath of fresh air. Can you see how this might benefit you and those around you, wether you live near our pilot project in Massachusetts or not? It gives me goosebumps to think how the impact from this project can positively reach individuals globally as we pick up steam.
